“When I made my DIY Teardrop Trailer in 2007, I fiberglassed the exterior and used this rv trim as a corner protector for the roof.
Years later and a lot of manufactured teardrop trailers later, this is still my preferred aluminum rv roof edge trim for teardrop trailer builds. It’s easy to bend around most corners -without binding-, has a nice vintage teardrop aesthetic, and seals the corners up for years.
It’s simple and effective – my favorite kind of parts.”

BLEMISHED - What do we mean?
This roof trim is new and has never been installed. It was blemished in shipping from the factory in the USA. It is perfecly usable but not up to our typical visual standards for unblemished trim.
Once it’s out of stock, it’s gone! We don’t have regular stocking of this as it is our standard trim that has been blemished in some way. This trim Sells Fast!
Installation Tools & Sealing
Install this roof trim correctly and it can last the lifetime of the trailer with minimal maintenance.
Recommended Tools:
- Rubber Mallet
- A scrap of wood – for pounding on with the mallet while protecting the trim.
- 1-1/4″ stainless steel screws
- Butyl Tape
- Silicone Sealant
Shipping
All trim is shipped in 1.5″ or 2″ black ABS or hardboard pipe to prevent damage in shipping.
Due to handling and shipping, expect some scratches in the material that can be buffed out.
International shipments may be subject to import duties or additional fees.
