Although the website has appeared to be dormant lately, Overland Trailer has been a buzz with a new adventure. It is inevitable that a website, like this one, which has thousands of subscribers, would receive requests for build tips and potential trailer sales. After talking with the family & squiring away some time to do it, we built our first trailer for a customer.
To be honest, it was an all consuming venture which is very rewarding. It is nice to see our work bring joy to people (and the customers too!). It was nice to learn some new skills, solve some new problems, and sweat buckets while picking red hot shards of metal from our bodies. It was nice to work with a friend on a fun project.
Soon on this website, you will be able to see more about this fine little trailer which we call the “58 Heald”.
It is really hard to believe that it is done. Well, I’m going to take a nap.
