5′ x 10′ Off Road Teardrop Camper Trailer Plans

The DIY 5′ x 10′ Off-Road Teardrop Camper Trailer plans are in production!  Based on our first trailer (est in 2007), this updated and perfected off-road teardrop trailer is the best way to disappear into the wilderness with everything you need to camp off-grid.

These plans are designed for the DIY home-builder based on our factory production specs.  Our first 5′ x 10′ Off-road Teardrop Camp trailer was built in 2007 so these plans have been perfected over many years.

This trailer features:

• A full tube steel trailer frame (DOT approved) with a removable tongue for a multi-axis coupler
• Axle-less Timbren suspension
• Ample cabinetry in both the cabin and galley (which features a 5′ telescoping counter)
• Room for a queen-sized bed with extra storage
• Integrated 12V and 120 system that supports solar charging
• twelve different 12 v circuits
• An inverter and 110v system
• Smart charge system Lithium and Lead Acid deep cycle batteries.
• Add a roof rack for your tent, awning, solar shower, or other items.

The plans come in three books and a set of patterns:

• DIY Wiring of Frame and Body for Off-road Use
• Full-sized paper patterns for most wood parts.  They unroll on a single piece of paper that is approximately 5′ x 30′.
