I am not much for New Year’s Resolutions. In fact, my typical resolution is to make no resolutions. I have been successful at keeping this resolution for the past 12 years. I typically don’t like resolutions because they usually end up being BHAGs (Big Hairy Audacious Goals) which typically fail. Gradual change suits me better.
So this year’s gradual change is to camp more in the jPod. This past summer Senior Management & I were able to camp about 1/2 of the summer. I hope to spend more time camping, hiking, cooking in cast iron, and calling for our two little dogs (aka “the Cougar Bait”) to jump into the Jeep for another adventure. I also hope to learn more about the history and future of camping in teardrop & tiny trailers. As usual, I’ll continue to report our camping adventures & cooking experiments in my typically sarcastic & dry blog posts.
This year ushered in many new subscribers to the www.overlandtrailer.com blog (about 2,000 new readers it looks like). Many of the readers of the blog have left me comments or emails asking questions about the jPod, offering input, or simply giving encouragement. To all of our readers, faithful & occasional, thank-you for your support & input. This project has been shaped by your thoughts & comments and will continue to I am sure.
Many blessings to you all in this new year and may the dust never settle on your teardrop or tiny trailer unless you have stopped on a dusty road for the night -At least that is our plan.
Cheers!
