Film Preview: “Historic Camping & Teardrop Trailers”

After some time of editing (about 287 hrs), the teardrop trailer film is complete enough to have a preview of what will be in the final full-length documentary.  The final documentary will be about 50 min. in total length. Enjoy!

Music that Travels

“There’s a straight loud shot that was the start of it…” – The River Empires Several years ago, I went to a concert to see a band , “Paper Astronomer” (they recorded in my music studio), open for a pretty well known band “Falling Up”.  Little did I know the connections that would be made […]

Overland Trailer film featured at WWU

Landon all geared up

This past summer, I traveled the US in search of the story of teardrop trailers. The goal: make a documentary film about teardrop trailers that can be used in high school classrooms & viewed by enthusiasts (support and read more about the film here). 10% funded & music to my ears!

I pulled the jPod out of the garage for the first time this year.  I wish it was to go camping.  With single diget temperatures promised by the weather people, I am not going to see camping very soon.  However, it was nice to pull it out and look at it outside.  I did some […]

My blog makes it big

It looks like a little silly story about my free sander has made it big (record number of hits in a day).  This is sort of ironic since my website is not about sanders but my trailer build but I’m happy for the attention just the same. My blog “Craftsman but not Techmen” was picked […]

Our Garden Project

One of the main purposes for the jPod trailer is to get into nature.  Since Senior Management & I have this as our goal, gardening seems a natural step. We decided to put in a garden this year.  We’ll store the food for use while camping in the jPod & throughout the winter.  Since we […]
